When you read certain words in romance stories, do you CRINGE?
Elle Brown describes an unusual book launch for her Formula 1 Harlequin romance, “Bridesmaid’s Fast-track Fling,” in which participants played Cringe Word Bingo, a bingo game that uses cringe romance terms instead of numbers.
The minute I read Elle’s pitch, I wanted to read more. There was something about the sparkle and warmth of her voice that captivated me from the outset – she has a rare talent for fusing plot drama with emotional drama, in an utterly believable but still magically escapist way. (Her sexy F1 hero didn’t hurt either!)
